Pegasus Media, the production company behind RTÉ’s History Show, is in 2025 celebrating its 15th year providing festivals, historic houses, county libraries, museums and premier venues across Ireland with an expanding range of expert talks featuring leading authors, broadcasters and academics.
The 2025/26 roadshow features a unique series of presentations from some of Ireland’s best-known presenters, authors and historians – including, for the first time, Professor Diarmaid Ferriter, one of Ireland’s best known historians, who presents a variety of talks on the trials and triumphs of the West of Ireland through the ages.
Meanwhile, as Ireland counts down to launching the first Irish person into space, Pegasus will also offer an exciting new lecture series – From Ireland to the Stars – celebrating Ireland’s rich astronomical past and its cutting-edge contributions to modern space exploration.
Heading the presenting team for the 2025/26 History Roadshow are Myles Dungan (The History Show); Flor Mac Carthy (Oireachtas TV; RTÉ Radio); Turtle Bunbury (The Genealogy Roadshow); and Colette O’Flynn, physiotherapist and YouTuber.
